Assistant Professor of Family Medicine

Divya Reddy is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at UCSD, with a secondary appointment in the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Kansas in Kansas City and subsequently did an Obstetrics fellowship at Natividad Medical Center.  She practices the full breadth of primary care for patients of all ages. Some of her interests include Obstetrics, women’s health, office procedures, and quality improvement and population health in the outpatient setting.  She also continues to do hospital medicine.  Dr. Reddy is the Co-Program Director of the Combined Family Medicine & Psychiatry residency program and an Assistant Program Director for the Family Medicine residency program.  She is also the Course Director for Primary Care and Public Health in the undergraduate BSPH program.  She feels passionately about teaching residents not only how to be an empathetic and competent PCP, but also how to continue to improve their skills along the way and learn components of Practice Management to be ready for life after residency.
