Application Process

All applications are accepted through The Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS). Please also submit the AMSSM Code of Ethics  to the contact email below.

Please be sure to address one of the following prompts in your personal statement in ERAS:

• Please describe one of your greatest strengths and how you will leverage or apply it in your fellowship year? 
• How does the UCSD Sports Medicine Fellowship Program, in particular, align with your career goals?  

Important Dates

We request that the applications be submitted by October 1st the year prior to the start of the fellowship year. We typically interview in November.  The fellowship year typically runs from the last week of July for one year and one week. We overlap fellows one week for training and orientation purposes.
